The award ceremony took place on December 15 at the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation
Valery Falkov, Minister of Education and Science, emphasized that information work was of utmost importance within the framework of the Decade of Science and Technology, announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin. “Colleagues, you all occupy different positions, but you have all taken on an enormous responsibility. Tackling the challenges of the Decade is unthinkable without your work. The more professionally you talk about the achievements of Russian scientists, academic institutes, laboratories and universities, as well as the challenges they face on the ground, the more popular this noble sphere will be,” he said.
Valery Falkov also thanked the Student Media Center of the Ministry of Education and Science, who develops youth media in Russian universities.
Continuing the event, Anna Gureeva, Deputy Director of the Department of Information Policy and Integrated Security of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science, presented diplomas to the best student media of the country's universities. RGGU.LIVE was awarded the diploma “Best student media based on the results of the rating of media activity of student media in the Telegram social network for 2023.”
